Job Description

Elaborate the requirements and think through the right business solution design that meets the business needs and fits into the overall Capital Infrastructure. Global best practices should be adopted in designing the solutions that cuts across Data Management, Information Security, User Management, Usability and Configurability considerations, MIS, System Control, Business Interfaces, Scalability of the system, Flexibility to incorporate future changes, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence and Analytical platforms, etc.
Analyze and understand the data models / data architecture associated with Sourcing, Processing and Reporting of RWA Information. Basis the understanding, design solutions for rightful sourcing and warehousing of data
For all infrastructure and process issues that impacts the delivery of RWA results, perform root cause analysis by deep-diving into the infrastructure, data, reports and establish the underlying reasons for such behavior. Proactively, seek and resolve possible and current issues in consultation with the Information Management and Reporting Teams
Analyze and Resolve issues, by adopting Project Management rigor, partnering with functional or business owners and technology owners.
Develop Subject Matter Expertise around Capital/RWA and Regulatory Reporting
Review the BRD/FSDs for functional completeness and appropriate design considerations that meets the business needs
Work closely with Change Teams to act as a liaison and provide business specific solutions for implementing into the infrastructure
Act as a key person in driving Strategic solutions by providing all necessary support and articulating the right business design of the solution
People / Resource Management:
Build, Manage, Coach, Develop and Engage a team of high performing individuals. Unleash peoples capabilities as part of development of individuals and teams
Process Management:
Identify opportunities in standardization and optimization of processes, drive and support automation initiatives
Establish robust control and governance on the process
Drive Productivity and achieve cost efficiencies through continuous improvement initiatives
Create and Sustain a Process Management culture in line with global standards
Work with different stakeholders to continuously improve process controls and efficiency of delivery of services
Risk & Compliance:
Manage process risk and create a culture of Identifying, Measuring, Monitoring and Mitigating Operational Risk
Finance Professionals or Graduates in Engineering + MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution.
Minimum 3 years of Project Management skills and Delivery Experience (not necessary to be a Project Manager or Delivery Manager)
Strong Root Cause Analysis Skills
Strong Business Analysis and Solution Design skills
Creative Thinking in design and implementation of robust solutions
Good Understanding of Capital/Risk/Finance models and methodologies. Knowledge on Banks Capital Management Preferable with implementation experience relating to Basel II/Basel III
Good understanding of Banking Products / Finance Operations
Domain Skills in Risk Weighted Assets (RWA), Capital Management, Capital Analysis and Reporting, Basel II/Basel III Reporting/Regulatory Reporting, Credit Risk Analytics
5 to 10 years of relevant experience
Professionals who worked on Capital Management projects for banks
Capital Change Center of Expertise Design and Implementation of the Solutions aligning with the Change Governance Framework
Group Finance/Risk/Regulatory Reporting Stakeholder Engagement, Solutions Design, Decision Support, Investigations, Analysis, Governance, Directional Support
Other Relationships Internal Governance, Audit, Operational Risk, Process Design and Management, Information Management and Assurance, Reporting & Analytics, Service Management
Successful implementation of the business solutions designed for Capital Infrastructure and Process with no or minimum impact to delivery of expected services and performance of the system
Stakeholder feedback on robustness of the system and effectiveness of the process
