Job Description

a) Candidate should have Minimum 10 Years experience in combined Trade Operations and Bank Payments.
b) Should have hands on experience on handling Cash & Clearing Transactions.
c) Knowledge on Processing of bulk cash transactions & High Value Clearing Cheques within the specified cutoff time.
d) Should effectively handle high value outward remittances, Issuance/amendment of LCs, Import/Export LC Documents Checking, in line with UCP 600 guidelines & Handling Collections in line with URC guidelines.
e) Providing Seamless Transaction Processing (Import Lc issuance, Export Lc advising & confirmation, Issuance of Bank Guarantees, Export & Import Lc Document Checking, LC & Collection Payments) ensuring Compliance with Bank's Policies & Procedures on KYC & AML, OFAC/UN Sanctions, UAE Central Bank Guidelines.
f) Effective Relationships with Direct Reports, Senior Management, Internal & External Customers.
g) Cross Functional Training of Team Members to Maximize Productivity & Create Effective Backups.
h) Key role in the UAT & the Project Team in the Successful Implementation of new Trade Finance System Exim Bills Enterprise. Key initiatives of the Project:
i) Analysis of the Technical & Functional gaps, identify key enhancements required.
j) Review, Validation & Testing of various UAT Test Scripts for the Functional Gaps & Business Confidence.
k) Analyzing & Improvising various transactional reports & Customer Advices.
l) Engage the team and support and /or handle various other functions to maintain the operations unit.
m) Effectively mitigate the Money Laundering/Terrorist Financing/Sanctions risks associated to all escalated trade finance transactions and provide approval/escalate as necessary.
n) Provide training on trade based money laundering and AML aspects of Trade Finance by gathering and analyzing information, new developments and business risks in the context of International Trade Operations, and provide guidance to the Team.
o) Assist in reviewing/developing Department Operating Instructions and ensure adherence of Policy and Procedures.
p) Maintain at all times an excellent knowledge of the Banks Domestic and International Compliance Policies & Procedures and Regulations related to Trade Finance Business and Record, Monitor and Report Compliance related Issues.
q) Constantly monitor the productivity of the team, create effective back up & ensure transparent conduct of the employee assessment process.
r) Effectively contribute to the Trade Services Client Experience.
s) Candidates should have complete CDCS Certification.
