Hardware and Networking: Knowledge on Server Hardware - Multiple Vendors, Remote Management Tools, Software & Hardware Raid, Technical understanding on network typologies & devices, Analytical skills to identify, isolate, troubleshoot, suggest/recommend solutions h. Windows Administration: Working knowledge on multiple Windows OS platforms, OS configuration on different roles - Domain, WINS, DNS, DHCP, IIS - configuration and troubleshooting. Knowledge of - Disk & Storage, File & Print Server Management, Terminal Services, Raid Administration, NTFS Permissions, WSUS Management and Administration, i. DFS / File Sharing, Analytical skills to identify, isolate, troubleshoot, suggest/recommend solutions j. Escalations and Communications: Review and Publish RCA, Communication on Process and Technology Changes, Responsible for Managing Critical Issues, Communications on New Services, Transitions, Ensure that critical issues are not repeated through proactive technology solutions k. Reporting: Reviewing and Publishing SOP, FMEA & KB, Problem management metrics l. People Management: m. Ensure building of the Technical capability of the team. n. Review tech and process assessment ratings. o. Responsible for KRA setting, Performance management & career planning for direct reports, Participation in operational or functional interviews (Organization wide), Design and participation of Induction modules for the team p. Operations Management: Configuration and Capacity management, Driving BCP/DRP, Derive and own operations efficiency improvement programs through tech solutions/ automation (TCO to be reduced YOY), Capacity Planning for operations as well as client infrastructure capacity Graduate in any Degree.
