1) Increasing business from retail and wholesale relationship programs. The incumbent is responsible for designing various key outlet programs of the company, and ensuring business growth is achieved in retail and wholesale channels from these programs.
2) Implementation of technology in sales. The position is responsible for ensuring technology initiatives like Mobile apps & DMs are implemented across the sales team, and effective market work and business growth achieved.
3) Distribution & Coverage expansion. The incumbent needs to evaluate distribution model, and design an exhaustive distribution and coverage plan, for the region, with detailing done till village level.
4) Improving sales team effectiveness. The position is also responsible for improving sales team effectiveness, by building redistribution strengths. He or She needs to have a proper training and review process to improve Productive Calls, Total Lines Sold, ECO (effective coverage) etc
5) Executing BTL/LSP activities for the region. He / She will also be responsible to implement all BTL activities and sales promotional activities in the region. Ownership of regional budgets and its utilization is part of this role.
