Administering and maintaining Data Integration and Middleware environments, automated deployment processes and tools, and managing release and deployments in Middleware and Data Integration environments.
Reporting to: Head System support
Monitors and manages middleware service component performance and initiates actions to resolve any shortfalls according to agreed procedures.
Defines the integration build, accepts software modules from software developers, and defines release management procedures.
Analyses service and component availability, reliability, maintainability and serviceability.
Implements arrangements for disaster recovery and documents recovery procedures. Conducts testing of recovery procedures.
Monitors service delivery performance metrics and liaises with to ensure that service level agreements are not breached.
Implementation of Policies & SOPs ; BCP process
Ensure closure of tickets raised by L1 and other dept teams
System Performance monitoring and suggest solution for improvement
Ensure Closure of Incidences; Identify and implement RCA
Initiates and monitors actions to investigate and resolve problems in systems and services. Assists with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures.
Ensures that incidents and requests are handled according to agreed procedures.
Ensures that documentation of the supported components is available and in an appropriate form for those providing support.
