As a Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end training activity for the core employees up to senior management level. The aspect of training will cover inductions, commercial training, soft skills, management development and some technical skills.
Identify training and development needs within an organisation through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with business managers and human resources departments.
Design and expand training and development programmes based on the needs of the organisation and the individual.
Work in a team to produce programmes that are satisfactory to all relevant parties in an organisation, such as line managers, senior managers, supervisory roles and advisors.
Research new technologies and methodologies and develop effective learning programs
Developing behavioural training modules to suit target audience
Managing the delivery of training and development programmes and, in a more senior role, devising a training strategy.
Amend and revise existing programmes as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment
Has an understanding of e-learning techniques, being involved in the creation and/or delivery of e-learning packages
Develop training calendars, plan of action and trainer notes for every module
Facilitate class-room training whenever required.
Provide feedback and coaching to trainees / reportees.
Formulate assessment tools in line with competencies to be assessed & conduct assessments.
Prepare training reports including training feedback consolidation and class observations
Follow up with participants post training to ensure training effectiveness
Prepare visibility material and ensure updating on an on-going basis
Adhering to Information Security Policies and Procedures of SGS
Ensuring compliance to Information Security Policies and Procedures
Ensure reportees (if applicable) comply with the security policy and procedure of SGS
Understand and Comply with Information Security Policies and Procedures, and report all security incidents.
Ensure the audit non-compliances are fixed within the stipulated timelines.

Follow the information labeling and handling procedures based on the classification level of the asset.

Graduate with 9+ years experience in Learning & Development/ Training.
Knowledge of OD / Training methods & tools.
Highly proficient with MS Office PowerPoint, Excel, Word
Good conceptual and content development skills.
Excellent facilitation skills, previous experience of delivering classroom training.
Organisational and planning skills to manage time and to meet deadlines and objectives
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
