Job Description

Working in Foreign Exchange Cash, Options, Non-Deliverable Options and Money Markets
Processing daily Confirmations of trades done on various FX products like CLS, NDF, Emerging Currencies and Vanilla Options.
Confirmation and Documentation of NDF Long forms and paper confirmations for sensitive corporate clients. And verifying agreement MCA maintained with counterparts.
Analyzing the Breaks: Whenever we have a trade outstanding, we need to investigate on different criterias like Rate, Value Date, Notional amounts, Direction, Entity and SSIs. Then need to check either with counterparties (over 200 international clients) or our trader (Front Office) to get the deal amended based on the proofs available like REUTERS Conversations, Email conversations, Broker confirmations etc.
Accessing of various Vendor tools like FXALL, MISYS, Keylink, PTS Portal, GTSS, Markit and others in order to update the trade instructions and affirm the trades on a day to day business.
Follow-up with the clients and the MO/FO till the trade get matched.
Ensure all the FX trades (both Gross and Netting Settlements) are settled on or before the Funding or Nostro Cutoffs as applicable and monitoring Cash Management queries and informing them on any unprocessed funding trades and contacting the clients in regards to the non-receipts and informing the cash management.
Settlement of the FX transactions via Netting, GROSS, RTGS, MT103, MT202, and MT104 as per currency cut off times.
Sending manual confirmations and payment instructions via Swift Alliance (STARS), if necessary
Recalling to funds in case of cancel rebooks or on payments made in error via Swift Alliance (STARS)
Liaising with NOSTRO if payments get delayed or paid in error, and try to resolve the issue
Validation of settlements done by colleagues
Check for updation of SSI in Omego Alert by clients and update the same in our data base
Escalation to my immediate level in case of any issues
Using my expertise in atomization of the present process
Creating rules in order to avoid auto payments from the system, for clients, who require manual intervention in payments
