Shop/ Dept ER Management:
o Handle the ER for a manufacturing shop
o Handle the performance appraisals for all operators for the assigned shop (dept).
o Conduct Monthly Employee Relation Meet in respective shops/area.
o Handle daily grievances of all operators.
o Manage the aspirations of the all operators.
o Cascade information, in shop, on company goals, expectations, and monthly company themes to ensure alignment at all levels.
o Improve discipline and built positive attitude level on shop floor by imparting training.
Central ER Role:
o Work on ER Strategy & Process Formulation.
o Benchmark on process and policies.
o Manage relations with Union and communicate with Corp ER Team
o Handle the annual increment of permanent operators, by Conducting Compensation & Benefit Benchmark Survey, Food Basket Surveys (For Cost of Living) etc.
o Handle bonus payout in sync with Plant head & Corporate ER Team.
Talent Acquisition & Induction:
o Handle recruitment process of permanent operators in the plant.
o Manage the Induction program for permanent operators.
Employee Welfare & Engagement:
o Facilitate effective delivery of canteen & transport functions.
o Facilitate Annual Sport Events, Puja Festival Celebrations & Key Celebration Days in Plant
o Handle Bandhan program (Family Visits to plant) for permanent operators.
Employee Communication & Participative Forums:
o Drive operator participative forums - Shop Communication Committees, Joint Management Committees, Skip level meetings etc in the Plant
Supervisor Development Program:
o Manage programs for improving supervisors capabilities and developing them as first line ER Managers.
Scanning External Environment:
o Proactively Benchmark & Analyze competitor plants policies in locality.
o Study Major Labor Unrests in the country and analyze drivers behind them for action planning on similar drivers in Small Car Plant.
