Job Description

Essential: 15-20 years of hands on experience
Ideal candidate must have at least 8-10 years experience in construction industry.
Candidate must have worked in project, construction environment preferably in infrastructure companies and managed procurement of project works.
Experience in business development and/or marketing of project works as contractor shall also be equally accepted.

1.Vendor Database Management and Vendor Development
2.Rate Analysis on the BOQ
*Provide inputs on the BOQ prepared by Project team & consultants and advice project team on price trends & provide rate analysis.
*Provide inputs on the quotations received based on the market.
*Conduct due diligence of the BOQ, scope of work, technical specifications for comprehensiveness & standardization wherever possible
*Development and maintenance of a generic BOQ with standard costs
*Identify potential gaps & possible areas for contractor claims to arise in order to mitigate risk & minimize possible conflicts during project execution
3.Tendering, Negotiation and Finalization
4.Contract Administration/Management
5.Experience in negotiation of Civil/MEP work packages
6.Experience in budgeting and cost estimation for Civil/MEP work packages.
7.Contracting & contract administration
8.Knowledge of basic aspects of finance / commerce
9.Knowledge of vendor development/management

Educational Qualification

B.E / B. Tech in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical Engineering from an institute/University recognized by UGC/AICTE

No unexplained gaps in education and at least 60% marks, high school onwards
