Oversee daily operations and management of FCC Operations Manage escalations for the team focusing on issues preventing STP. Work directly with clients and cross functional senior leaders on complex issues. Serve as senior most FCC contact in region Partner with technology, play a lead role in identifying key operational issues, trends and efficiency opportunities and develop strategies with the goal of enhancing STP. Work in partnership with senior leadership to develop and drive people strategies that leverage, engage and develop talent across the FCC Operations team Facilitate communication across various channels to engage FCC Operations employees Drive VOE activity including communication, idea generation, solution implementation Drive the delivery of strategic platform re-engineering initiatives; Define success criteria in partnership with senior stakeholders, and implement measurement processes to track progress Develop and maintain an effective governance and communication structure across all in scope projects, including preparation for Executive Steering Committee meetings with a broad selection of senior stakeholders Deliver to tight deadlines across multiple geographies and functional teams Serve as senior most contact for FCC Operations Support mobility and development across the organization Support cultural implementation of Operations Excellence Qualifications and Skills: BS / BA degree in relevant subject (e.g. Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Management) or equivalent work experience 10+ years of experience in a financial institution Product knowledge of futures, collateral and clearing, with in-depth insight into how Operations and Technology functions within the overall product set. Demonstrated experience leading people and developing effective and diverse teams across a regional footprint. Ability to establish and build trust with professionals throughout the business as a leader, advisor and business partner to the organization with a clear client orientation. Experience delivering line support and strategic change programs in a fast paced, large global financial services firm, ideally in an operations, risk or technology organization Proven track record of balancing the need to take delivery risk in order to create time to market with the need for accuracy, diligence and thoroughness Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive leader Possesses strong communications skills and has proven success interacting with senior management both in the business, corporate functions as well as the Operations, Business and Technology environments Self-reliant, good problem solver, results oriented Strong technology background with working knowledge of evolving technologies. Strong awareness of both external and internal best practice perspectives, maintaining a balanced and fresh viewpoint.
