Planning of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
Carry out on site assessments of the resources necessary to enable the maintenance team to successfully execute the various maintenance activities. This will include liaising with technical and non-technical departments within organization and external contractors
Creating detailed plans, job work scopes, cost estimates and forecasts is an important aspect of this role
Expected to have the knowledge, experience and initiative to function in a key role during major planned maintenance shutdowns
Involvement in a variety of other tasks including the co-ordination and execution of reliability and productivity improvement projects.
A diploma in engineering with minimum 10 years as a hands-on maintenance planning experience in refinery, ammonia, methanol, chemical process, power generation, marine industries or similar.
Good working knowledge of the maintenance associated with industrial plant equipment such as pressure systems, rotating machinery, instrumentation and electrical systems.
Knowledge of MS package such as Word and Excel are essential. A working knowledge of SAP will be an advantage.
