New Job addition to the Schedule. Maintain the Calendar(s) and Job Schedule Database
Managing output management system tasks such as archiving old jobs etc.
Monitor, correct, escalate for system related issues
Coordinate and modify schedules for special requests and follow the Customer Business priorities.
Respond expeditiously to requests for priority job execution
Notify the Customer Business if special requests will affect the timely completion of other work and provide schedule status updates
Schedule on-request batch jobs that require immediate execution
Follow JCL standards in supporting creation and testing of JCL
Establish and document standards for production job. Where appropriate, provide technical assistance to correct incidents and errors in production JCL
Invoke resolution and restart procedures in case of failures in the batch jobs
Check control totals and condition codes to monitor proper applications executions as defined the Customer Business
Monitor scheduled batch jobs and batch cycles, resolving any non-application scheduling conflicts
Associate should have strong ITIL process knowledge and able to work in 24/7 production support.
Mainframe Job Monitoring using OPC (TWS) and Control-M/ZOS .
Distribution Job Monitoring using Control-M /EM.
Handling mainframe job failure and resolving all system and tape abends like SB37,SE37,S822,S522 , SOC4 and SOC1 etc.
Working in tandem with application team to resolve any failures in Mainframe jobs and OS jobs.
Adhoc scheduling of jobs and processing special requests runs in Control-Good communication skills.

(2.) To analyze and integrate the CoE Process and adjoining HR/Business Processes for bringing out higher alignment by creating new designs or enhancing the current design as per industry and regulatory norms.
(3.) To keep self abreast of the changing paradigm through reading, research, feedback and competitor analysis to ensure that the process design has the next/best practices
(4.) To prepare business requirement documents for automation/enhancement of the HR Process(es), lead pilot and testing efforts of a process rollout including preparation of training material and ensure that customer queries on a new process are responded to.
