Job Description

In addition, the role requires hands-on experience with reengineering initiatives, talent management and development, high focus on risk and control, standardization and process improvement. Other expectations, which are also job requirements, include being a strategic thinker, problem solver and having a solid customer service and communication skills in order to interact with diverse stakeholders and multiple levels of management. Critical responsibilities for this role will include (with different levels of involvement): Metrics and controls creation of decks, templates and presentations when required for senior management. Also, constant reviews of documentation and process work flows to have them up to date with business changes or improvements. BAU, migrations and special projects management from Asia functions . Interaction with a diverse customer base and different levels of management . Excellent people leadership skills and hands on experience in leading large teams Talent management and FTE control including clear allocation by country and by business Assist and support in risk & compliance testing and requirements from the team using query tools to develop reports as needed to support audit, regulatory, tax and other customer requirements Improve communication with the business/region Responsible for migration management and reengineering target achievement Analyze current processes and resources to provide recommendations to align all parts involved to achieve operational efficiencies Work with senior managers and team to automate, document, and implement processes where appropriate Ensure teams procedures represent a best practice approach Oversees development of team members to support succession planning Handles adhoc assignments from Senior Manager as required Qualifications Overall Competencies and Leadership Qualities Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate through all levels of the organization An ability to influence peers and business partners to take action necessary to achieve goals Sound leadership skills with passion for excellence. Knowledge and practical application of Reengineering concepts is desirable Leadership and team building skills are vital; must have the ability to lead large teams and guide staff through change management initiatives Extensive experience in working with a variety of financial platforms. Proficiency with MS Office Suite Financial and talent management competencies Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions Excellent communication and presentation skills Ensure quality and on time preparation / submission of deliverables Person Specification Knowledge / Experience: Education: Bachelors degree in accounting/finance. CPA / MBA is a plus. 12+ years of proven financial experience on finance or accounting. Shared services is a plus Proficiency with MS Office Suite (MS Access, MS Excel, Power Point) Knowledge of system functions. Experience with systems implementation is a plus Thorough understanding of basic accounting concepts Skills: Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to constant changing needs of the business Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions Excellent analytical skills and a strong financial background Ability to analyze and react to problems and /or situations, ensuring that the overall process is not adversely impacted Ability to break down communication barriers to optimize business results and encourage change/growth. Ability to influence peers and business partners to take action necessary to achieve goals Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience. Masters is a plus.
