Ensure on-time deliverables to the customer, as well as in-house training and related documentation.
Ensure that all laboratory functions are performed in accordance with all safety guidelines.
Perform and direct testing on samples submitted to the laboratory according to SOPs set forth by Applied DNA Sciences, Inc. USA.
Develop research objectives for staff; plan and develop experiments and experimental protocols.
Perform routine facility maintenance.
Recommend methods; develop and modify methods and procedures for project(s).
Writes and revises SOPs, forms and other controlled documents as needed.
Ensure full compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 requirements and maintaining quality, service and on-time delivery.
Assist in determining tasks, ensure responsibilities are clear and assigned, and ensure tasks are completed.
Operate at a consistent and exemplary level of efficiency, producing high quality and accurate results with a customer driven focus.
Plan and review the analysis of data.
Establishes and maintains an effective system of communications throughout the organization.
Generate laboratory reports and supporting documentation as it relates to all testing within the laboratory.
Keeps records and prepare reports detailing findings, investigative methods, and laboratory techniques.
Handles, process, and store all samples in conditions that preserve integrity.
Work closely with the Director, Forensics and other team members on new technologies.
Must have three years of forensic DNA laboratory experience.
DNA analysis experience involving the extraction, quantitation, analysis, and interpretation of forensic DNA samples is preferred.
