Job Description

Overall Purpose of the Role: Summary of the role overall role contribution to team, department and organisation To support Learning and Development and Employee Engagement initiatives at Disney India Areas of Responsibility: Key elements and required results of the role Learning and Development: 1. Managing Databases and Creating Dashboards Manage Inventory of items used for programs and giveaways Maintain expenses as per budget allocation Manage training databases - employees who attended programs in the fiscal and training database from 2012 till date Create quarterly and annual L&D dashboards Create data cuts/ collate data to provide insights from data for specific initiatives for insights and decision making 2. Program and Logistics Management For Onboarding Programs, Professional Development Programs, Leadership Development, Learning Series talks, Intact team programs, OD Interventions, Programs for Senior leaders and Mandatory Compliance Trainings Create snapshots to publicize programs in the organization Schedule programs and manage program invites Book and make arrangements at the program venue Make pre-program arrangements (scheduling of the program, making arrangements for program material, arranging for travel of the facilitator) by following program checklists Stakeholder Management (external program vendors, facilitators and venue providers, internal facilitators, HR team) Deliver sections in established programs (eg. Introduction to the Learning Management System) Partner with the Learning leads on initiatives Manage established programs end to end and ensure that they run smoothly and efficiently Follow up and support in seeking nominations for Enterprise Programs Manage the entire Onboarding Experience independently Being able to understand the brand and update standard presentations 3. Managing the Learning Management System (LMS) Creating and managing programs on the LMS Recording Attendance on the LMS Managing feedback via the LMS 4. Be the owner of certain programs Manage established programs end to end and ensure that they run smoothly and efficiently Manage the Onboarding experience independently Understand the brand and make changes to standard presentations Follow up and support in seeking nominations for Enterprise Programs 5. HR Communications Platform Create a monthly plan for sharing updates on the HR Communications Platform (Yammer), from India Execute against the monthly plan by creating posts for Yammer with updates from India Employee Engagement: Plan for Engagement Initiatives Lead Engagement Initiatives/ Events. Open and Close Initiatives/ Events Send feedback/ Generate ideas/ options for initiatives/ events Create and manage communication to employees Book and make arrangements at the venue Pre initiative arrangements (scheduling, making arrangements for material) by following initiative/ event checklists Process and Efficiency Management by following event checklists Stakeholder Management (internal employee engagement team members, support functions external vendors) Maintain expenses as per budget allocation Manage databases of activities/ events conducted and reach in the organization Create quarterly and annual dashboards for Employee Engagement External and Internal Stakeholders: Who is the individual accountable to, what are they accountable for ? Internal Stakeholders Learning and Development Team HR Business Partners Employee Engagement Team Internal Facilitators External Stakeholders: Vendors External Facilitators Education & Training: University graduate MBA or Post Graduate preferable with specialization in Human Resources Working Experience: 2 to 3 years working experience in Learning and Development Skills Required: Highlighting the key technical, language and job related skills required Skills Required: Customer Focused approach Deliver with high quality High on Ownership An Eye for Detail Ability to articulate and communicate effectively - verbally and using written mediums Ability to plan and organize Ability to look at data and convert it into meaningful dashboards Ability to adhere to timelines and follow processes Ability to create and look for process efficiencies. Other Skill Sets: Ability to deliver presentations and the ability to speak to groups of employees and answer queries Ability to think out of the box in situations Understanding of the Plateau Learning Management System functionality. Other requisites, languages: Fluency in English Hands on experience on PC software applications (e.g. Word, Excel & PowerPoint) Contract: 1 year renewable on performance basis
