Conducting diagnosis and planning activities related to the financial consolidations process
Leveraging content knowledge and past experiences to architect an optimal consolidations solution incorporating industry best practices in the following areas:
Consolidations process (Future State definition)
Intercompany elimination, reconciliation and reporting approaches
Currency conversion methodologies
Equitization and complex ownership
Cash Flow Statement automation
Process Management and Audit Controls
Corporate Adjustments and Reporting entries
Alternate Reporting hierarchies
Constant Dollar Reporting
Detail design and development of consolidation solution application and software components consistent with overall solution architecture, including:
Consolidation software application (Hyperion, SAP BPC, etc)
Data Integration (HAL, Upstream, etc)
Reporting (Standard Reports, Ad-hoc reporting, SEC Reporting)
Develop and execute System, Integration, and User Acceptance testing plans and conduct fixes
Designing and conducting business solution testing and deployment plans
Support the deployment of the solution to overall user community
Support the definition of structural and cultural changes required to reach the goal; sequencing those changes.
80-100% travel is required for this position.
Three to six years of deep skills in Corporate and Business Consolidations, Controllership, Financial and Management Reporting.
Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred
Experience working with or implementing a best of breed consolidation and reporting solution such as Hyperion, Cognos, SAP BPC, PeopleSoft, Carthesis, etc.
