This position will be the overall incharge of the Institute. Will be responsible for the complete Academic Planning. Has to ensure the delivery of the Departments contribution to University and Faculty strategic plans. Ensuring effective representation of the Departments interests within and outside the University. This position will be responsible for the management of staff of the Department, including (i) training, development and career management and (ii) day-to-day management matters, such as leave of absence, sick leave, etc. Candidate should have a credible track record of high-quality academic work with 20-30 years of work experience. Candidate should have familiarity with the administrative and management systems of the University. Should have an ability to set and communicate clear vision and expectations for departmental and individual performances.
