Purpose of the Role: This role is responsible for developing and disseminating favourable Corporate Communication, Public Relations and Media strategies in line with the client's vision and business strategy to promote goodwill, develop credibility, and create a favourable public image for the organization. Key Responsibilities: Plans and formulates the budget for the Corporate Communication Dept. in consultation with the MD & CEO. Manages activities in line with the agreed business plan and within agreed annual budgets. Consolidates media requirements and budgets across various concepts and plan for centralized media buying. Liaises with press and media houses for gaining a preferential status for the client Shortlists and evaluates PR and Media agencies as per organization requirements & processes, formulates SLAs for the partners. Coordinates with vendors, media, advertising agencies / channels/ partners for developing long-term relationships. Ensures that internal communications are shared on a timely basis with all employees as per the requirements. Liaises with all functional heads on corporate communications and public relations e.g. speech or media opportunities. Designs a Corporate Communication strategy for internal and external communication consistent with clients vision and business strategy. Designs media and PR strategy, leads the implementation of all PR plans and coordinates relations with media and PR companies. Drive Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives with NGOs with the objective of enhancing brand image while working for specific groups that may be impacted by the organization Monitors press clippings and provides rejoinders to adverse articles about client in the press in confirmation with the senior management view. Manages the company website and ensures timely updating of internet and intranet content in coordination with the IT team Ensures timely press releases on corporate actions e.g. announcements, crisis communication, Corporate Social Responsibility or any other corporate activity. Manages and oversees all internal communication newsletters, e-mail alerts, greetings, presentations etc. Defines the guidelines for all corporate communication material and collateral brochures, presentation templates, corporate briefs etc. Identifies training & development needs for all team members and is responsible for their professional development. Develops talent within the team by providing consistent direction and support to achieve stretch targets and progress professionally. Plan and manages all social media in cyberspace in best interest of the company.
