Job Description

- Experience in the financial services industry and/or financial industry knowledge is essential, and knowledge in Fixed Income domain is highly desirable
- Must have experience of handling multiple teams with span of 50 to 100
- Experience in structuring and scoping complex problems, and ability to find or develop practical and simple solutions to complex problems without sacrificing quality or core functionality
- Ability & willingness to work with ambiguity & strong decision making capabilities is a must
- Previous experience driving strategic and tactical process improvements, experience & exposure into Transformation initiatives in data/technology-heavy functions/programs is highly desirable
- Should possess a total experience of 12-15 years with at least 5 years in Operations Management
- Prior experience of reference data management & corporate actions for fixed income securities is strongly desired

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall delivery, quality, performance and customer experience of the function( Reference Data for Fixed Income products)
- Manage & run Operations of 50 FTE with multiple extended teams spread across time zones and of superior Talent
- Lead and liaison with cross functional teams to ensure error free and timely daily support/ deliverables and/or ensure timely resolution of breaks/ issues
- Strategize, plan and drive actions to enhance the product from coverage, depth and quality perspective
- Proactive planning and execution of the required keeping product and people need in perspective
- Participation in decisions around Product development/enhancement
- Stakeholder management & Client servicing
- Effective communications and escalation management
- Identify and build the required processes, internal measure/metrics and controls for handling fast paced client needs and product enhancements and thus provide an environment to effectively manage complicated projects
- To set direction and lead the teams through transformation period by developing and implementing strategies required for proactive change management
- Accountable for client satisfaction against service level agreement, and ensures achievement of key performance indicators/ project milestones driving results
- Recognize performance and behavioral problems in team and act proactively to ensure productivity is unhampered.
- Build highly productive & efficient functions
- Budget creation to address rudimentary or emerging needs
- Takes proactive steps to ensure that best practices are shared across all departments, shifts and among the network.
- Sets / clarifies requirements and expectations for directs and extended teams
- Empowers, measures performance, provides feedback and holds teams accountable for their performance and the performance of their functions
- Management Reporting, Reporting to senior management, regulators, clients on a regular basis Performance metrics, Review, Audit Report, etc.
- Drives planning and actions around Employee development, Leadership development, recognition, motivation and retention
