Job Description

Essential qualifications : Masters (MBA, MS) degree in Operations Management , with basic qualification of engineering or B Pharm Essential experience: More than 15 years of experience with at least 10 years of experience in domain of supply chain planning Role of department: The role encompasses the responsibility of Supply Chains for Indian domestic formulations business.  This function will work closely with other organizational functions (like Sales & Marketing, Manufacturing, QA/QC, Procurement, Regulatory, R & D ,Distribution, Finance etc.) for seamless planning and execution of monthly activities as well as long term plans. Key Responsibility Areas: Ensuring timely completion of monthly Sales & Operations planning process. Leading supply chain function in S&OP meetings.  Resolving conflicts and deciding prioritization among markets and products in case of resource conflicts. Ensuring consistency across the supply chain in processes and systems. Delivering on key supply chain metrics and driving improvements based on root cause analysis. Optimizing Supply chain Cost. Cost rationalization based on Cost to Serve (CTS). Key Performance Metrics On time in full Lost Sales from Short Supply Forecast Accuracy (high) Inventory Days- FG and RM/PM (as per scientific norms) On-time FG dispatch Requirement vs Actual Production; Commitment vs Actual Production Logistics costs Warehousing costs Write-off costs Adherence to agreed timelines for S&OP process Adherence to agreed timelines for NPL (on Supply Chain activities) Timely inputs from sales team.  Early intimation of any changes in plan or any deviations from timelines agreed in the Pre S&OP and S&OP from sales & manufacturing teams. Should have good experience of working in Pharmaceutical Industry. Should have good experience into Demand Planning, Material Planning, Production Planning, Dispatch planning etc.
