Job Description

Sales head responsibilities include developing key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans. Successful execution of these strategies is required to achieve your financial targets. Sales head duties will include hitting annual targets, building relationships and understanding customer trends and needs. Job Responsibilities: Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors Determines annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analysing trends and results Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness Design and review the Marketing departments budget Build relationships with media and stakeholders through creative PR strategies Monitor all marketing campaigns and improve them when necessary Prioritize marketing projects and allocate resources accordingly Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations Provide guidance and ideas to organize effective marketing events Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of the companys objectives Track competitors activities Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Desired Candidate Profile: Previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager or sales and marketing head Good exposure to technology and analytical skills to find out opportunities Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and CXO level Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services Proven ability to position products against competitors Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills Excellent verbal and written communications skills Key Skills: Meeting Sales Goals, Negotiation, Selling to Customer Needs, Motivation for Sales, Sales Planning, Building Relationships, Coaching, Managing Processes, Market Knowledge, Developing Budgets.
