Job Description

- Responsible for the sales training delivery, driving content quality and process improvements, with the objective of continuous improvement of the Sales force, with respect to their knowledge and selling skills

Key Accountabilities :

- Oversee the Training requirement for the Sales teams and arrange for the necessary trainings, chalk out Quarterly training calendar

- Align with the Sales Head in order to identify future training needs, develop content with respect to current gaps, forecast sales training requirements and prepare an annual budget for Organization wide Sales training

- Liaise with the sales regions, in order to identify the trainers from the region & the training requirement for the region

- Liaise with the ASMs, to qualify them as trainers & organize trainings along with Regional Managers for Sales Development

- Responsible for developing various training manuals and other educational material, both from internal & external sources

- Responsible for developing the content for various e-learning modules on Sales & Marketing

- Evaluate the effectiveness of the training imparted & the trainers, document the same and take necessary actions

- Evaluate Sales Team's current level of knowledge and skills by conducting assessments

- Prepare Orientation Program training kit for the new joiners in the Sales team

- Coordinate with external training agencies and Trainers

- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications & maintaining personal networks

- Extensive understanding of sales processes, market conditions and trends

- Experience in planning & coordinating trainings and e-learn content development

- Must have knowledge of Financial Planning and Strategy, Sales and Marketing Concepts, Product Positioning, People Management, Territory Management, Sales Planning, Competitive Analysis, Understanding the Customer, Product Development, Client Relationships etc.
