Product Development Head - General Insurance Job Description Ability to handle independent assignments & having the acumen to take logical conclusions with self-identification and problem-solving. Strong business acumen on Product Development and implementations which cover the entire gamut of assessing the need for a product, designing, analyzing and launching of a new or an adapted product. He/she should be market centric, good knowledge on product positioning vis-a-vis the competitors. Articulate in presenting his/her independent thoughts with a high degree of conviction. High result orientation & well oriented with Microsoft office. Key Responsibilities Designing the new products & corresponding marketing plan Analyze potential partner relationships for products. Drive solution set across development team through market requirements, product contracts, positioning. Develop new product requirements and business cases. Articulate the key product benefits and service experience. Developmental experience of corporate strategic directions. Support on ensuring implementation of Strategy and Planning process. Competition Product & Strategy Benchmarking Support on Thought Leadership & Decision making. Develop detailed analysis on Market Entry & GTM strategy for a new product being developed Salary Commensurate as per his/her experience, knowledge. Desired Candidate Profile - Expectation from the candidate Must be an MBA, CA, MBBS with or without B School Degree having min 7 years of experience of which at least 5 years should have been Product Management covering Retail Insurance Product Lines in a General Insurance Company Must have managed the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities in a General Insurance Company covering Retail Health & or Retail Motor Must possess strong underwriting knowledge Excellent communication skills, including writing reports and presentations.
