Overall responsible for nursing department.Upgrading the Nursing Quality, Nurse Managers & Team-leaders in to the corporate culture.Preparing Nursing team to undergo the process of NABH standards,Leading & keeping up the standards of NABH in process. Preparing nursing philosophy, policies, and objectives according to hospital policies. Making duty roaster of nurses. Recommend and define respective duties, authority and responsibility among the nurses. Taking round of hospital morning & evening & briefing the Medical Superintendent. Responsible for quality nursing care by directing and supervising day and night nursing. Continuously analyze and evaluate the nursing services. Assist in acquiring supply in wards/Depts. Through Medical Director. Implement the policies laid down by management. Planning & implementing training programmers/Staff Development/In Service Education programmers for nurses, so as to keep them informed about the new developments. Educate the supporting staff by planning training programmers and cooperating in training programmers conducted in the hospital. Maintain personal records of all nursing staff. Promote harmonious relations with physicians/departments and administration. Attend professional meetings as a representative of nursing department. Look after the health & welfare of nursing staff. Forwarding of annual confidential reports & promotion to higher grades. Conduct & attend meeting from time to time with the nurses. Will be responsible for any other duties arranged by the Hospital Director from time to time.
