Job Description

Head of Medical Services would report into CEO and regional medical heads as direct reports.

Doctors from tertiary hospital chain with multi location handling exp or Pharma/ diagnostics companies in the field of Ortho / OBG specialties would be ideal. Pan India role leading a large team, would involve travel to 20 odd locations.

- Participates as full member of the Executive Team in planning, leading, organizing, implementing and evaluating various operating functions and processes essential for organizational success.

- Assists the Executive Team to effectively manage budgets allocated to the division to ensure appropriate utilization of funds to deliver cost effective and safe care.

- Facilitates the ongoing improvement of work processes to meet customer needs and position the organization for long-term success especially in patient care services.

- The medical director arranges for the availability of qualified specialists and maintains involvement in contract negotiations with these professionals.

- Collate compile, analyses the regional data of Doctors & other related services.

- Collaborates with medical staff, clinical leadership and other necessary individuals to identify opportunities and successfully address issues in assigned areas.

- Supports Clinical Divisions to problem solve clinical issues.

- Provides advice on business requirements to support the delivery of clinical care, including workforce, infrastructure and IT.

- Provides advice on medical issues and standards of clinical practice across clinics and develops and implements policies, procedures and evaluates performance in relation to clinical standards and patient care.

- Review appropriateness and quality of medical care provided to consumers.

- Preparation & implementation of Protocols, SOPs for Clinic /Hospital environment

- Quality Accreditations- NABL, NABH, JCI

- Coordinate with regional team for setting up doctors interviews, processing the applications, completing the onboarding of doctors in Clinics, Cradles & Day Care.

- Completion of Credentialing and privileging of Doctors

- Mentor and guide Nursing dept to continuously educate and sustain high quality of patient care, Infection control and associated clinical/patient care protocols

- Guide the nursing head to Create a growth path for various nursing categories to address their career and learning aspirations and ensure high morale of the team.

- Exhibit a personal commitment to customer services, integrity and personal learning

- Deliver product/services consistent with customer needs and contemporary standards of safety and quality in Health care

- Numerate and able to manage budgets (income and expenditure) and to analyze financial data

- Demonstrable negotiation, influencing, networking, presentation skills

- Demonstrable ability to motivate self and staff across the organization and secure the co-operation and involvement of key internal and external stakeholders

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, confident at responding directly to individuals queries
