Job Description

Role & Responsibilities

• Center of Excellence for Learning & Development
• To develop & align Learning & Development Strategy to achieve Business Goals
• Oversee the organizations Annual Training Catalogue - Technical ( IT ), Functional ( Banking ) & Behavioural Programs.
• Engage, & Work directly with business leaders to identify and appropriately define their challenges/needs. Advice business on effective mechanisms/solutions to address those needs and where applicable develop & coordinate customized programs based on the ?group’s needs.
• Provide support to different Centre of Expertise within HR to build capability for the organization such as performance management, talent development etc.
• Engage with HR Business Partners to understand key people matrices, propose relevant training solutions to address employee needs/challenges wherever required
• Plan departmental/functional training budgets, forecast costs and delegate numbers as required by organizational planning and budgeting systems.
• Develop and maintain all L&D processes, process documents and databases related to learning and development.
• Oversee the development and delivery of management information reports to track and benchmark learning and development participation, costs, benefits, etc. on a monthly / quarterly and an annual basis.
• Assist in managing external vendor relationships.
• Recruit, manage and develop (whichever applicable) direct-reporting staff.
• Build rapport and a strong relationship with the COO & Business Unit heads to understand their expectations from training programs, focus areas as per business need and mapping of employee expectations with business expectations
• Work closely with the L&D Territory Head to align training programs and outcomes to the offering available in APAC region. Mutualise key behavioural and organizational interventions.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified Learning and Development professional
• Management Degree in Human Resources (Added advantage)
• 12+ years of experience in the field of training including course design, development and adult education/learning styles.
• Working knowledge of current and emerging training tools and learning aids.
• Proven ability to align to the culture of the organization with an ability to build strong working relationships, internal and external to the organization.
• The three key competencies that this role needs to demonstrate and practice are Strategy, Interpersonal Skills and Result-Orientation.
