Job Description

- Set up & implemented strategies for procurement & prepare & implement raw material plans & forecasts as well as procurement of RM, consumables, solvents, PM based on monthly production plan - Acquired significant exposure in working on raw materials like Aluminium foils Stock, PE Granules, LDPE Films, Maplitho Paper, Acid free poster paper, Glue, adhesives & hardeners', Resins, Printing inks, Solvents, Ketones, Chemicals, Pigments, Dyes, Shellac - Procurement of Engineering stores spares, jobwork spares, CAPEX, Rolling Oil, Lubricants, - Procurement of Packing material like Wooden Pallets, Card Board Cores, Aluminium Cores, Corrugated Boxes, - Spearhead team efforts related to implementing floating enquires, obtaining quotes, RFQ followed by negotiation & finalization of purchase orders based on production requirements - Participate in supplier negotiations related to prices, quantity of supply, delivery schedule as well as contingencies for changed order - Ensure compliance to organizational policies & statutory regulations pertaining to purchases to maintain availability of quality materials based on production schedules. - Coordinate activities related to induction, development & evaluation of vendors to ensure economic advantage & supply security. - Groom & mentor team members in implementation of systems and procedures for enhancing operational efficiency and departmental profitability. - Assess inventory levels of RM, PM and replenish accordingly based on production schedules. Participate in quarterly review of purchases to ensure compliance to min max level. - Maintain updated records related to store operations based on business as well as audit requirements. - Manage administrative aspects related to issue of material as per production plan, disposal of process scrap. - Focus on setting up and ensuring compliance to IMS Systems and Procedures Structuring of SOP's. - Evaluated Job Work contracts, Annual maintenance contracts, Open Purchase orders, Lab chemicals, Capex items, purchase indents to ensure compliance to organizational policies and procedures - Negotiated annual rate contracts with transporters, cargo companies for incoming RM, PM - Prepared and communicated daily schedules for printing inks, packing material to vendors as per ROL - Managed end to end processes related to request for quotations, getting quotations, comparison statement, negotiations, releasing purchase orders - Assessed costs and negotiated prices of various items for RM, PM. Managed daily schedules, logistics for lifting materials based on requirements - Followed up & coordination with CHA for imports shipments till in bond in customs bounded warehouse - Followed up on material for placed purchase orders, tracking, tracing till GRN entries in system as well as on release of vendor payments with accounts as per PO terms - Collaborated with stores, quality dept, production, Finance, PPC, and Logistics dept for smooth functioning of dispatches - Identified & developed new vendors based on QMS, vendor visit, vendor evaluation. Conducted annual vendor visits with QMS MR as per vendor visit plan, vendor ratings, and vendor performance - Defined & implemented SOP's for purchasing dept - Collaborated with R&D, product development, quality and production dept pertaining to development of new products and with QMS, QA, and Production dept for TDS of new developed raw material, packing material - Assessed & updated on booked sales order in system. Interacted with PPC for export sales orders Desired Candidate Profile: 1. BE & MBA in Materials Management with 10+ Experience in a Aluminium Industry 2.
