This position is majorly responsible for brand management at customer and internal sites, and all public relations initiatives including media coverage in trade publications, & community relations initiatives.
The position is intended to develop and leverage the brand among all key audiences (customers, suppliers, communities, media, government, associates) in India. Ensures communications are aligned with global objectives and local market audience. Serves as a strategic internal consultant on communications matters to the India/geographic leaders.
Work with the local management and corporate to integrate all external and internal communications tactics (non customer communications) in India.
Build name recognition and reputation across key influencers including customers, government officials, recruits, media, communities and academic institutions.
Engage associates as brand ambassadors. Support business plans and tactics but also employ strategies that contribute to long-term brand building.
Responsible for updation and upkeep of the intranet pages
Newsletters Reflections and other applicable communication tools for the Associates in India
In-house Branding Plants and offices
Interactive Notice boards
Activities to ensure required participation in Corporate Social Responsibility - Day of Caring, etc
Interactive and informative e-mailers
Event Management Family Day, Town hall meetings etc
Budget Analysis and representation of data
Support OA in developing programs that promote the brand as a great place to work with target recruiting audiences, college campuses, and Human Resources media. Design marketing collateral and messaging that inspires target audiences.
Minimum : Bachelors in mass communication. Preferred :Masters in mass communication
10 - 15 years in Internal / Corporate Communications and Branding, PR preferably in an MNC
Ability to influence and affect change at the leadership level and develop organizational strategies
Demonstrated proficiency in managing the function across various legal entities
Clearly demonstrated strategic planning, advising, counselling & decision making expertise
