URGENTLY LOOKING FOR Compliance & Disciplinary Manager JOB DESCRIPTION FORM Job Holder Name: Dept: HR Reports To: Head ELC Location: Head Office 1: Job Purpose Statement - To ensure 100% compliances under all the applicable employment & labour laws and closure of disciplinary issues in stipulated timelines by ensuring adherence to principles of natural justice. 2: Duties & Responsibilities- Major Responsibilities in compliance : Ensuring 100% compliance in all the Branches, Regional / Zonal & Head offices of MMFSL under all the applicable Employment & Labour Laws. Complying with the statutory provisions of employment laws and completion of compliance activities in compliance module. Adhering to the labour legislations / principles of natural justice / SOP while dealing with the issues. Ensuring closure of all compliance & disciplinary issues within stipulated timelines. Drafting of various compliance related letters. Resolving Compliance queries Communicating changes in the rules as per the latest amendment. MIS & presentations Major Responsibilities in Disciplinary : Handling the disciplinary cases for 2 companies. Dealing with unauthorised absenteeism. Adhering to labour regulations/ principles of natural justice/ SOP while dealing with issues. Drafting of disciplinary letters, viz., show cause, warning, suspension, termination, etc. Guiding regional/zonal team on conducting disciplinary inquiry & proceedings Conducting trainings to educate committee members & employees on disciplinary proceedings Coordination with internal & external stake holders. MIS & presentations 3: Key Challenges - Coordinating with the compliance module users for complying with the statutory compliance under applicable employment & labour laws and timely updating the same in the compliance module. Coordinating with the Regional & Zonal team for closure of the compliance & disciplinary issues. Achieving continuous process improvement through automation, data presentation and by finding the loop holes while process execution Continuous training to ICC members & employees for creating awareness through mailers, case studies, videos, etc. 4: Decision Making Authority - Should able to implement & work on improvement in process. Should possess the knowledge to have fair and just decision making. 5: List of internal and external stakeholders the role is expected to interact with to execute duties effectively Labour consultant Regional team Zonal team Accounts team Payroll team 6: Job Requirements MBA with background in labour laws or legal backgrounds. Communication and behavioural skills. Excel Analytical skills Labour laws and legislation. Knowledge of compliances under various labour regulations. Competency to handle pressure situations to deal with sensitive issues. Competency to maintain confidentiality of information.
