Job Description

Global Account Manager – Building Materials
o Day to Day liasioning with Assigned Client/ buyers
o Acknowledgment and timely response to customer
o Monitoring and executing all approvals related to Program under progress
o Addressing all buyers complaints
o Acting as a link between Plant and Buyer
o Coordinating for Buyers visit

o Follow-up with respective departments for Timely Shipments and Tracking of Shipments
o Keeping Track of shipments Informing Buyer about the Status of shipments.
o Review weekly SCM reports, highlight issues or concerns with the buyer

o Initiate product development activity with the customer
o Communicating the requirements of Buyers to the PD Team for Sample/ Product Developments;
Ensuring Timely Dispatches of Samples
o Market week / Heimtex / Exhibition Execution
o Work on costing as per the specific requirement and format of customer

o Follow up of payment as per the payment terms
o Negotiation of claims, settlements required wavers & discounts from the clients in coordination with Finance Department

o Preparing and monitoring various MIS related to Order Status, Actual vs projects, Status of Shipments.
o Meeting notes follow up
o Opportunity grid update biweekly, dispatch plan update and PBT sheet review

o Provide complete support to Sales Manager for any activity related to assigned clients/buyers.
o Preparation for customer meetings
Qualification And Experience:
1. MBA with 7-12 Years of Extensive experience in Global sales and new business development in Building Materials Industry
2. Demonstrated experience in customer engagement at senior levels and building long-term strategic and executive relationships
3. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to understand customer needs, negotiate complex sales and articulate total value offerings to customers
4. Strong presentation and communication skills
5. Ability to build relationship strategies, account and sales plans, and proposal strategies
6. Be results oriented whilst being committed to fostering a strong sense of teamwork.
