Responsible for the Quality Systems and Processes for the Business. To establish, monitor and continuously improve product quality as well as quality of systems and processes across functions.This will include deploying organisation wide improvement initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma, Quality Circles, etc.,including training in tools and techniques for building excellence and First time Right processes
Responsible for ensuring Product Quality Leadership in the market
Monitor current Product Quality systems, identify areas for improvement and guide teams for implementation In Order To ensure Leadership in Product Quality
Effective implementation of the Customer complaint handing process In Order To ensure on time and satisfactory handling and resolution.
Analyse and ensure CAPA for product complaints In Order To ensure nil repetition
Conduct the Product Quality testing monthly In Order To compare our products with competition & confirm Leadership
Conduct periodic audits of manufacturing and quality systems to ensure adherence to norms. Design and execute systems to measure quality performance parameters.
Design plant performance rating system to measure plant performance with respect to quality performance parameters and equipment; Roll-out the system; Set the reward mechanism and monitor the performance IN ORDER TO improve overall performance of the plant. Liaison with PD team, packaging team, maintenance team at HO as & when required to resolve quality related manufacturing issues & work out solution to address the issues.
Identify and recommend the process improvement related initiatives, form teams, collaborate with teams and ensure execution of the projects.
Identify projects, formulate teams, set up project charter, conduct reviews and guide teams In Order To achive timely achievement of objectives.
Support the QMS certifications across business, Manufacturing Excellence programs, Quality Circle initiatives at the manufacturing units
Identify programs, consultants, certifying bodies etc, guide and monitor the implementation In Order To improve Systems and Processes
Setting up of the Quality Systems for new plants & product Categories
Design and implement the Quality systems for new plants & new categories of business In Order To ensure, consistent high quality of products manufactured across facilities.
Education & Relevant Experience
Graduate in Engineering (BE/ Btech in Chemical/ Mech/ Elec, Etc), M.B.A with Certified Master Black Belt- Lean Six Sigma, having minimum 7-8 years of experience in the field of Quality and Process Excellence
Knowledge and Business Understanding
Knowledge of Integrated Management System(ISO-9001, ISO-14001 & OHSAS-18001)
Knowledge of Process Excellence/Business Excellence initiatives i.e Lean Six Sigma, TPM, 5S, Business excellence models etc.
Knowledge of Product Quality assurance, process control, Consumer complaint management
