Planning, scheduling and timely execution of the Project.
Package in charge for 2X125MW Sub Critical Boilers along with the associated auxiliaries. Responsible for the designing approvals & erection of structures, pressure parts, hangers, air & flue gas ducts, ESP & rotating equipments.
Finalizing the EPC contractors, Managing Procurement, Project Design.
Monitoring and keeping a track of record of the day to day on going activities carried out by EPC Contractors at the site.
Follow up with vendors, ensure submission and approval of engineering drawings on time, sort out any pending issues, and ensure manufacture and inspections as per approved QAP to achieve timely supplies to site. Approve invoices for timely payments to vendors/ sub-contractors and ensure invoicing to Customer as per approved billing schedule and follow up for timely payments.
Coordination with Counterparts of EPC Contractors and its sub contractors for smoother execution.
Co-ordination among shift Personnel at the time of emergencies at different areas of the Power Plant (i.e. Boiler, feed cycle, Turbine, Electrical, jetty, Ash plant, flue gas desulphurisation, Chlorination Plant, etc.).
Preparation of Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports on Generation, Fuel consumption, Auxiliary consumption, auxiliary saving on various fronts, Heat Rate of 375MW units, etc. Analyzing the reports, suggest and take corrective actions in case of any deviations for betterment.
Project risk identification and finalize mitigation plans.
Carrying out onsite inspections for quality and safety.
Listing out Defects and Punch Points.
Training and development for subordinates.
Obtain Project Completion Certificate from Client after submitting documents to support project completion as per Contract.
Preparation of the Plant protection & control philosophy documents, System description documents for various systems, Design criteria documents, O&M manuals, Commissioning & Testing procedures for plant equipment and systems of Thermal power plants.
Review of Vendor Specs &, drawings, P&IDs, Plot Plans, General Arrangement drawings etc.
Preparing & Reviewing of System P&IDs and Flow diagrams of Thermal Power plant systems.
Conversant with Piping Design, including Pipe Sizing, Thickness and Pressure Drop calculations.
Resolution of Site related issues and extending the site support during Erection & Commissioning stages.
Review of Mechanical, Piping, Civil and structural planning to meet Contractual requirements of projects and Approval of vendor drawings & design calculations. Etc
Piping documentation involving issue of fab & stress isometrics, MTOs (project stage-wise) and piping general arrangement drawings.
Interdisciplinary activities involving checking of component drgs, preparation and issue of inputs comprising load plan, access & maintenance requirements like platforms, EOT & Jib cranes, monorails, for inline components and equipment, sleeper way, pits. Floor traps and pipe supporting structure to layout, Civil and structural; as applicable.
Participation in design review of other projects outputs i.e, Equipment layout, Basic building plan, Formwork drgs, General steel work drawing, Architectural drg, Layout of external works etc. Also comments on same if required in respect of piping needs.
Design review for the piping systems of other projects whenever required.


Utilities consisting mega size Raw Water Treatment 3500 cubic meter/Hr , Cooling Towers 62 000 cubic meter/Hr, DM Plant 512 cubic meter/Hr, Condensate Polishing Unit, Plant Air and Instrument Air, Nitrogen System, Fire Water System, Plant Water, steam distribution network Centralized Flare etc.
SHP steam generation, in both Steam Turbines & Gas Turbines.
Gas/Oil/Coal fired Boilers, WHB & HRSG.
Large Hydrocarbon Storage (Both atmospheric & pressurized ) 1.5 Lac T Product Loading Through Terminal Automation system.
Gasification plant to produce One Lac NM3/Hr of Hydrogen + CO Gas Cleaning & Gas Handling System.
Fuel Handling system, both Solid, Liquid & Gas.

. Candidate should have hands on experience in CFBC Boiler Technology and its operation. Thermal Power Plant.

d. Handling critical operations of CFBC Boiler.
