Job Description

Reports To (Person) Finance Superintendent/ Asst. Finance Manager Role (Specific tasks and the role that the person will undertake) Stock Accounting, Sales accounting, Customer Ledger Transactions, Interface between Marketing Function & Logistics Back up for Finance Superintendent / Asst. Manager Finance - will run all Accounting Tasks Office Administration - Contractor Interface / Office Supplies Etc. C & F Agency Operations Cash & Bank Operations Experience (Relevant experience the person must have) Should have at least 3 years experience in Commercial Activities FMCG Experience is preferable. Essential Desirable Job- related Skills (Technical and professional skills that the person must have to be effective) Book Keeping & Accounting Income Tax Act - provisions related to TDS Purchase of goods & Services. Commercial Laws- Sales Tax, Luxury Tax and Local Taxes. Computer Savvy ( SAP/ ERP Exposure is a plus) Understanding of functioning of Inventory Management Understanding of Labour Laws Shops & Estn. Act Contract Labour Act PFA - Sales Tax Standard weights & Measures. Management/ Personal Skills (Non- technical and managerial skills that the person needs to have) Integrity of Character Quick Learner Grasps numbers easily Good Communication / Interpersonal Skills Task Orientation - Diligence Educational Qualification (Basic educational background that the candidate should possess) B. Com. (Minimum), M.Com, CA / ICWA Inter or MBA Finance also acceptable Tests, Certification (Specific tests that must be applied to candidates; prior certification that they may need) Test for Understanding Book Keeping Systems & Accounting Knowledge Check for basic understanding of Commercial Law Verification of educational qualifications and affiliations Verification and recommendation from references Verification of current remuneration Training, Support (Job- related training and support that you will provide the person in first 3 months) Age Range 23 - 30 years Pay Range (Rs.) Level 7 / Grade H
