Job purpose


We are looking for a Group Head (Media & FMCG)  to join our team in expanding the client base for our west region. In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing a team of sales/account managers as well as developing and executing the sales strategy across the west market.


We expect our sales leaders to act like owners and have an impact outside of the core sales function by demonstrating leadership, providing leverage and producing results that will help us scale effectively.

Duties and responsibilities


  • Have a clear and comprehensive understanding of Netcore’s services, business model, client market place and organizational structure
  • Set the sales priorities and key selling strategies to achieve sales objectives. Leverage relationships to open doors to new strategic business opportunities.
  • Directly manage a growing team of individual contributors responsible for selling and managing relationship with clients across West region.
  • Prepare and present accurate and timely sales & revenue forecasts, consistently monitor the sales activity of the team and track results.
  • Hire, develop and retain world-class sales talent. Inspire and motivate employees on a daily basis and bring innovation to the sales process to help accelerate our market growth trajectory
  • Constantly innovate ways to balance sales opportunities, client management and new customer onboarding responsibilities
  • Devise tactics and strategies to maintain close relationships with Netcore’s key clients
  • Work to develop and circulate the set of best practices that will serve as the foundation for this growing team
  • Listen to the needs of the market and share insights with the product and marketing teams
  • Be proactive about solving problems
  • Be ready to take on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emerge and do everything you can to help the company achieve its larger objectives
  • Ideate and conceptualize new ideas for client briefs. Work on client pitches & presentations – can independently work on effective presentations and hence MS Office skills are a must
  • Build and manage key customer relationships with Brand/Marketing Managers, Marketing Heads, CMOs
  • Credit control - Ensure timely invoicing and collections.
  • Maneuver the team to work in sync with client servicing, operations and execution teams to ensure smooth delivery.

MBA/Post Graduation with specialization in Marketing from a reputed institute

MBA with Engineering background would be an added advantage

Experience with relevant sales methodologies and metrics

  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proven selling skills, especially handling key accounts.
  • Strong Communication and Presentation skills.
    • Highly articulate with excellent business communication (verbal and written) skills and presentation skills suitable for a global corporate environment
  • Energized by a highly demanding and result oriented team environment.
  • Possesses excellent MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint and MS-Word skills






Relevant experience of minimum 10+ years in business development

Minimum 7+ years of team handling experience. Experience managing individual sales reps 

Experience of having worked with Consumer brands – FMCG, Media, Media Agencies

Attitude / Other characteristics such as personal characteristics

  • Eye for details, Analytical, Work under strict timelines, Time Management,
  • Ability to evaluate sound business opportunities, resolve conflicts, close deals and meet/exceed revenue goals
