Job Description

Must be an Actuarial Certified Investment Specialist

Oversees and provides leadership for the business development, Relationship management, Customer experience and risk management areas
Participate with the Board of Directors in developing a vision and strategic plan to guide the organization Execution of Strategic Plan.

Management, operation and development of the organization
Preparing, implementing and updating strategy plans and annual plans for the Company
Preparation and administrative follow-up of the Companys budgets
Providing a range of administrative functions to ensure the smooth functioning of the Investment Management Division.
Development of an investment strategy to achieve the highest possible return for the funds within the investment constraints laid down by the regulator
Management of the above funds within the constraints laid down for their management in the investment mandates, rules and guidelines laid down by Group and the funds owners

Establishing adequate procedures for the management of risk in investment management, including taking care of legal interests
Financial reporting and accounting, including providing data for the preparation of quarterly and annual accounts for the company in line with applicable accounting rules and the Groups accounting policies
Organizing, servicing and participating in the meetings of the Pension Board, and other related bodies

Ensure that the programs and services offered by the organization contribute to the organization's mission and reflect the priorities of the Board
Monitor the day-to-day delivery of the programs and services of the organization to maintain or improve quality
Build and maintain a high performance culture through effective performance management, communication and coaching of staff
Provide clear leadership and promote and foster a team culture consistent with Company.
Demonstrate a personal commitment to excellence; displays honesty, integrity, and a strong sense of ethics in all decision and actions

Establish a basic personnel policy; initiates and monitors policies relating to personnel actions and training and professional development programs
Identify, assess, and inform the Board of Directors of internal and external issues that affect the
organization
Act as a professional advisor to the Board of Director on all aspects of the organization's activities
Foster effective team work between the Board and the Executive Director and between the Executive Director and staff
Ensure that the organization complies with all legislation covering taxation and withholding payments


Skills Requirements

Equity Investment Management
Ensuring compliance with current statutory legislation and regulations
Writing annual/financial reports; managing IT-based pension administration systems
Keeping up to date with amendments to pension legislation and regulations.
Strategic planning and vision
Building and promoting partnerships across the Pension Fund and beyond
Empowering and building trust
Communicating information and ideas/knowledge sharing
Leadership

Educational Requirements

Advanced university degree in public or business administration, finance, economics, law or related fields
At least 15 years in the exercise of responsibility in executive or managerial positions of a investment management, pension fund administration or comparable professional experience.
Candidate must have a thorough knowledge of pension funds and/or investment schemes obtained through working experience, including substantive direct working experience and professional acumen in at least three of the primary pension fund management responsibilities (e.g. finance, operations, actuarial and plan design studies, asset-liability setting, strategic planning and reporting, and legal and compliance), as well as the interdisciplinary skills to manage these at an international level.
Knowledge of Pension Funds would be an asset.

Candidate must have a thorough knowledge of pension funds and/or investment schemes obtained through working experience, including substantive direct working experience and professional acumen in at least three of the primary pension fund management responsibilities (e.g. finance, operations, actuarial and plan design studies, asset-liability setting, strategic planning and reporting, and legal and compliance), as well as the interdisciplinary skills to manage these at an international level.
