Medical Officer (MO) will be the in-charge and overall responsible for the effective functioning of the MMU / Clinic. The other staff of the MMU / Clinicwill work under his/her supervision on a day to day basis.
Conducts medical camps in designated parking places / clinic as per roster.
In case of referral to the nearest facility, the MO shall maintain suitable records (detail address and the cause of emergency in the register and log book of the vehicle) and issue clear descriptive referral slips. He / She shall take immediate and appropriate actions during outbreaks of diseases and epidemic and inform concerned Local Health Authority as well as, to render assistance as required and feasible.
Screening, diagnose and refer the patients
Coordinates with all nursing/Para medical & non-medical staff and ensure camps are done regularly.
Complete and correct documentation of patient file & records.
Ensures required medicines, medical devices, diagnostics and stationery (OP slips, etc.) are available including Lab equipment & consumables.
Complies with prescribed mode and frequency of reporting (telephonic / E-mail / other written form) to Project Manager / any other designated authority, attending in the Review meetings
Maintains liasioning and networking contacts with local Hospitals/Practitioners, Truck Drivers associations, Welfare associations, and local NGOs.
Must be able to speak Marathi & Hindi.
Should have MCI Registration.
