Main Product is EDC machine (Credit/Debit swipe machine), E-Commerce and any Value Added Services (VAS) on the EDC Machine or E-Com.
• Key Responsibilities
o Relationship management and relationship governance at central, regional and functional level with the bank
o Leading joint go to market strategy with bank partner including sales, lead gen, marketing, product innovation, operations/ service/ CnR processes
o Jointly agree on short term and long term business plan with Bank
o Responsible for financial results from the relationship- P&L revenue, expense, EBITDA and margins, and deliver to jointly agreed business plans
o Managing sales and sales support personnel to generate sales from relationship
o Product alliances to enhance value prop by combining technology, product features and processes for new-age payment acceptance
o Cross-functional delivery to business requirements, working across FDC functions/ shared services and Bank’s functional teams
• Revenue Generation / Sales Management Role:
Primary responsibility is the achievement of sales goals and determined sales strategy at national level which can be through the following:
• New Merchant Acquisition
o Responsible for increasing and generating revenue through acquiring new merchants through Bank partnership and sales channel
o Bringing the synergy of POS as well as E-Com products.
o Assist in managing the sales distribution channels with Bank’s senior management team
• Managing Existing Merchant Relationships
o Responsible for overall merchant satisfaction, issue resolution and retention.
o Responsible for planning and implementation of marketing & promotional activities for driving high spend and VAS revenue in the merchant base in partnership with Bank
o Identifying and implementing strategies for activation of the existing inactive merchant base
• Market Share
o Responsible for overall market share of the product
o Ensuring right quality ,mix and pricing of the portfolio or the market share
o Responsible for overall sales strategy planning within the allocated region to achieve the targeted market share.
o General responsibility for defining overarching sales strategy and policies and ensuring larger sales plans (within budgets) are achieved
o Coordination with Risk for portfolio management.
• Process Improvements
o Responsible for developing, evaluating, enhancing, and/or implementing quality improvement processes, procedures, or policies that have an impact on the business unit.
o Responsible for anticipating client needs to influence the development of innovative solutions.
o Modifies, adapts or refines guidelines if necessary to resolve problems.
• Market Intelligence
o Responsible for market mapping, tracking the competition with regard to market share, average spends, practices of competitors (E.g. average merchant service fees (MSF) ), etc. to be able to assist with tactical level planning at the national and cluster level.
o Responsible for defining and discerning key aspects of a problem and for developing an integrated solution within a broad technical and business context of significant impact.
• Projects Handling
o Responsible for managing existing and new projects with partner Bank, conducting and documenting complex research, analysis and design for all phases of projects, assignments and reports.
o New projects to improve efficiency, productivity & revenue
• Team Management
o Responsible for coaching, mentoring and motivating the team on a fair and consistent basis to achieve goals and objectives.
o Responsible for monitoring overall staff morale and proactively addressing issues.
o Evaluating performance of staff and making recommendations for professional development opportunities.
o Responsible for overall productivity of employees and outsourced staff.
o Identifies and coordinates resources across business lines to achieve objectives and meet client needs.
