Conceptualize and develop the HR strategy and action plan for the year. Develop and review HR budget regularly.
Provide inputs on strategic sources of recruitment, sign off on the salaries and terms and conditions of selected associates at all levels, supervise adherence to recruitment profile, timelines and costs.
Review payroll activities and ensure no omission of data occurs. Ensure that all employee salaries and contractor wages are paid on time. Review the leave cards and attendance & make sure they are up to date. Supervise fitment, compensation benchmarking, salary revisions, including retirement etc.
Create unit specific Reward & Recognition programs based on the Employee Satisfaction Scores. Review effectiveness of the Rewards & Recognition initiatives on a monthly basis.
Finalize CSR initiatives to be taken by the hotel, ensure allocation of funds for the same, and take the final decision on the NGO tie-up for implementing CSR activities
Participate in the negotiation process with vendors / manpower suppliers and finalize the costs and terms and conditions. Review the contractor's legal compliance.
Participate in the negotiation process of the union settlement. Implement all terms finalized as a part of the union settlement and ensure adherence to the same. Coordinate with the union members on various welfare related issues and handle grievances as raised by them.
Regularly review all legal compliances and liaise with government authorities. Coordinate
with the legal department on the labor cases in various courts. Ensure that the team follows all statutory regulations and prepare them for all internal and external audits.
A full time MBA with 12+ years of experience in HR and IR from an Hotel Industry.
Experience in IT (settlements) is a must....
