Header Description - In order to-what result Creation of concept design for Steering / front axle / propeller shaft aggregates Creation of 3D part modelling, & drafting of 2D drawing using Pro E software Aggregate packaging study, clearance & interference check using Pro E software in vehicle layout Release of Bill of Material in PLM system Benchmaking of aggregates & incorporate Co-ordination with Indoor testing & Outdoor testing till designed parts gets validated successfully. Technical analysis of parst received from field & generate failure analysis report using systematic approach. Generate new value engineering ideas & implement in the design. Experience is design & development of Steering / Front axle/ Propeller shaft aggregates for Commercial vehicle / Passenger car. Advanced skill level required in Pro E software for 3D part modelling, assembly & drafting of 2D drawing. Should be able to to do packaging study, clearance & interference check using Pro E software. Strong knowledge in benchmarking process & new concept development. Knowledge of various manufacturing process such as Sheetmetal, die casting, forging, injection molding & rubber molding. Adequate knowledge in use of various design tools such as DFMEA, Design of Experiments, QFD, tolerance stack up & GD&T. Knowledge in ADAMS software and good understanding in CAE softwares derived results. Ability to understand the CAE results with present design & propose new concepts to address the issues. Strong knowledge in New product development process & various problem solving tools. Knowledge of various system & subsystem level testing required for Steering / Front axle/ Propeller shaft aggregates.
