Job Description

To develop, direct and coordinate human resources policies, processes, activities for plant in coordination with plant leadership team so as to ensure harmonious industrial relations, productive and engaged workforce and compliance to plant safety and Legal requirement. To act as a change agent and business partner by providing solutions for aspects related to HR. Key Responsibilities: - Contract Labour Management and Optimum utilization of resources. - Ensuring compliances to all legal formalities and regulations and handling social accountability issues. Ensuring compliance to legal statutory compliances and handling various legal inspections and liasoning with govt. officials - Responsible for Manpower Planning (Recruitment, Selection & Induction) and budgeting as business plan. - Developing and implementing HR Policies / Processes in line with the Quality Standards. - Responsible for Initiation, Negotiation & Finalization of LTA for plant amicably within the timeframe followed by effective implementation. - Responsible for Maintaining IR with the union for ensuring smooth working of the plant and Liasioning with govt. officials to maintain smooth and harmonious work relationship. - Ensuring compliances to all legal formalities and regulations and handling social accountability issues. Ensuring compliance to legal statutory compliances and handling various legal inspections and liasoning with govt. officials - Managing human resources projects i.e. new employee orientation, multi skilling, staff recognition program, compensation & benefits for the smooth workforce functioning - Improving organizational effectiveness by effectively implementing a performance management system - Responsible for PMS process of the plant by aligning individual and departmental KRAs with the Plant KRAs, ensuring the monthly progress towards it by timely reviews - Responsible for Implementing EHS system. Driving EHS through training and ensuring EHS implementation across functions. - Responsible for Admin., Safety & Statutory & Legal Compliance. - Highlighting employee relationship management issues i.e. absenteeism and attrition, retention, satisfaction, harassment, employee responsibilities, workplace etc. which might negatively impact positive employee relations - Managing overall Training & Development of employees as per the various inputs from the department heads, individual and market scenario to ensure an efficient workforce. Ensuring timely and accurate MIS for manpower reporting - Managing the overall development of team members through effective & need based training &evaluating its effectiveness.
