Job Description

Position Purpose - Responsible for carry out the onsite risk review activity (process review) for micro banking business (JLG, SHG and Individual Loans) assigned branches/ area. Update & review the Risk MIS on regular interval to analyze the risk associated with business such as credit and operation risk. Follow the monthly risk calendar and ensure the completion of risk review. Identify the lapses in Operation, System, Policy and Procedure through sampling guidelines and report the findings in specific risk report format to the Branch and concern reporting authority in timely manner. Position Responsibilities List in order of importance the major responsibilities of the job and the percentage of time spent on activities/ Sub activities Sr. Key Responsibilities - Importance of Responsibility % Time Consumed 1 Risk Review Planning and Execution: Follow the risk review calendar given by authorize person on monthly basis and complete the risk review process for all assigned branches without fail. Completion of each branch risk review process within stipulated time allotted for branch. Completion of special risk study as and when instruction given by supervisor within time. 20% 2 Coverage of the Sampling: Cover all key process review as per define sampling guidelines. Completion of 100% sampling criteria-Field Operation, Saving, Insurance & back office. Ensure the sample should cover cent per cent authenticity and cross verify under different dimensions of audit. 20% 3 Quality Assessment & Reporting: Proactively identify the risk & process lapses and distinguish the cause due to failure of system or person. Ensure that each observations measurable and cross verify with all dimension and supported with evidence/ back data. Share the audit findings to BM and Cashier and Guide them for proper compliance the issue. Report all high risk audit findings immediate to supervisor over phone or mail instead of waiting till final report. Submission of Audit Report in time to reporting authority 30% 4 Off Site Risk Monitoring: Updating the Risk MIS on regular interval to understand the risk curve. Analysis of overdue trend, business trend and concentration risk trend through MIS support on monthly basis. Offsite review of all key risk associate at Branch along with previous risk review observation and corrective measure before conducting risk review visit. 15% 5 People Management : Building a healthy relationship with all peers and direct repartee. Provide the comprehensive view/ orientation on policy & procedure deviation area to Branch staff & key associate to build their capacity. Part of training program team if process training organized on micro banking. Maintain good Interpersonal relation with each person even after debate/ argument on Observations. 15%
