Job Description

Position - DGM IT Infra Qualification - Bachelor's degree and 15 to 20 years related experience or equivalent combination, preferably Engineering in any stream. Knowledge of current trends, Certificate in technology area like CCNA, MCSA etc Good Knowledge about ITIL Process and Service standards. PMP training will be advantageous Minimum Experience of 15-20 years in area of IT infrastructure Management. Pharma experience will advantageous Essential Functions: - The IT Manager administers and maintains information technology systems (including PC and LAN equipment). - Provides IT operations functions to offices for the organization's standard hardware, software and voice/data network solutions. - Responsible for the purchase, installation, and life-cycle maintenance of servers and LAN network connectivity equipment. - As appropriate, provides escalated on-site support of hardware, software and network connectivity issues. - Acts as the primary point of communication between IT and operation, business and functional units. - Performs administration and operations functions as appropriate in accordance with standards, policies and procedures. - Responsible for IT governance through successful implementation, adoption and periodically updating IT Policies, SOP and Procedures Job Description: - Be part of global strategic technology initiatives to build and maintain key elements of the firm's enterprise infrastructure and associated project portfolio, including but not limited to 24x7 data center infrastructure management and evolution, mobility and remote access services, ubiquitous wireless networks, enterprise-scale messaging environments, active directory multi-forest integration, dual-carrier global WAN, software-defined internet working, and innovative end user computing solutions. - Provide leadership for delivery of 24/7 service operations and KPI compliance. Establish metrics, key performance indicators, and service level agreements to continually improve the performance of IT operations. - Maintain and update comprehensive disaster recovery architecture and operations are in place to ensure compliance with required RPOs and RTOs during business continuity events (emphasizing but not limited to storage area networks and redundant, highly-available server and network architectures). - Lead infrastructure operations team, who with others define, manage and support the entire operations infrastructure. Plan, a. Future skill requirements b. Skill development strategies and resources, c. Personnel levels based on project and operational demands, d. Personal development for all members of I&O team. e. Motivate, organize, mentor Participate in IT strategic planning, project planning and budget planning efforts. Establish and maintain strong, strategic partnerships with vendors and service suppliers. Coordinate I&O projects/resources with the IT project management office (PMO). Ensure all project deliverables, budgets, and timelines are met.
