Prior experience of creating Data Quality rules
Financial background, preferably risk based but not necessarily that space. Essentially needs to have an understanding of financial concepts to assist in rules writing.
Relational databases and tables, specifically understanding of Oracle structures and Access.
SAS / SQL, VBA
Advanced Excel skills (firm grasp of nesting if statements, index/match, arrays)
Hadoop (nice to have, will be needed eventually 1-2 years)
Good communication Must be able to write coherent, grammatically correct sentences. Communication directly with client IT and LoB teams will be needed.
