Job Description

Responsibilities :-

Understanding and analyzing Automotive, Raliway, Construction Equipment,Havey Engineering Industry
performance and then preparing future market projections based upon their respective plans and forecasting casting demand in line with the new models / new customers.

Presenting the strategic plans to Board for taking necessary long term decisions based upon the market, environmental factors and companys strengths & weaknesses

Heading marketing for Foundry Business and managing demand in line with the yearly Sales Plan towards achieving business targets.

Receiving RFQs, preparing cost estimates, presenting proposals to the customers, negotiating & closing the deals
Tracking competitor activities, talking to them for industry related issues; participating in Indian Foundry Congress for issues facing industry and jointly working with SIAM/ACMA
Handling new product developments in co-ordination with Design & Development team.

Leading team of customer account managers for meeting explicit & implicit needs of the customers
Heading Total Quality Management Activities leading TQM Pillars for improving DWM, 5S, AM and PSP

Marketing & Sales
Ability to lead a team and achieve desired results by training, demonstrating & motivating.
Achievement of short term and long term business targets in revenue, capacity utilisation and business potential.
Ability of plan and execute deliveries with the concept of OTIF.
Effective communicator and networker within the organisation and outside.

Created and improved the storage and handling of bulk materials in a very cost effective manner.

Business Development
Multiplied the business of Cylinder Heads, Cylinder Blocks & Housings .Achieved break through business in Surgical Implants by targeting seminars/exhibitions.
Ability to identify prospective clients from various sectors, generate awareness, and thereby achieving business targets.

Cost Reduction
Ability to champion cost reduction initiatives in the organization by innovation.
Negotiating and amicably settling disputes, maintaining discipline & harmonious working environment with contractors and service providers.
Instrumental in various VA/VE activities within the organisation with the involvement of customers also.

Inventory Management
Employed varying concepts to inventory management and storage.
Effectively handled the inventory of castings and materials within the targets set by the management.
Palletisation and lean inventory management.

Debtor Management
Negotiated better credit terms and improved cash flow.
Developed systems for follow up of receivables and rejects ,monthly and quarterly reconciliation of accounts and timely updation of customer GRNS.

Training & Development
Identifying & organising on job training to the team.
Providing training on communication & Presentation skills.
