Job Description

Major Responsibilities:

Objective (The main purpose of the position)
To ensure Proper Accounting of Financial transactions. To Comply with all Statutory requirements for Accounting Standards, Income Tax , Excise, Sales Tax. Daily investment planning. Computing the daily profitablity

Specific Tasks:

Accounts department administration
Income Tax related work including payment of advance taxes, appearing the hearing, filing the returns and replies
CAL unit accounts finalization- preparing financial statement for every quarter closing and coordinating in Annual financial report preparation
Cost audit coordinating with cost auditor in preparing the statuary cost audit reports

Regular Tasks:
Preparation of daily profit statement
Monitoring the daily fund flow and plan for Mutual fund Investment
Approving the cheque and cash payments
Fixed assets vouchers passing
Net banking activities including generation daily bank statements, payment of taxes and duties through net banking

Common Tasks:
Payment planning and verifying of all payment before the cheques signed
Gratuity and Super annuation Trust accounts statements preparation and get audited
G L scrutiny every month
Consolidation of accounts
Coordinating with Internal and statutory auditors during the course of their audit work.
MIS reports as and when required by managements
Income Tax assessment details as and when required by Income tax department
Signing the C forms, PF returns etc.
Bank inspection at CAL - monthly. Furnishing the details as required by the bank authority during the course of their inspection
