Own the entire Credit & cash management end to end process from Revenue to Cash including but not limited to new customers, credit approvals, order approvals, cash from advances, billing, unbilled, new revenues etc.
Achieve monthly, quarterly & early collection targets
Achieve past due receivable targets .
AR, UBR, AFDA, Unreported cash review on regular basis and recovery actions to ensure good health of receivables.
Timely collection of Cash equivalents & various Tax forms (TDS, WCT Certificates, C & I Forms, BGs)
Timely cleanup of non-collectable receivables
Credit Note and write off of workflow approvals.
Responsible for directly managing India WC Team
Monitor & control the performance appraisal of staff.
Control attrition and plan people movements. Recruitments planning. Prepare team for succession.
Share & Learn between teams, profile enhancement planning for team
Manage L&D needs through various modes such as online, classroom trainings, workshops etc.
Approve customer / project credit terms, guide teams on project cashflow simulations for understanding impact of terms under discussion and opportunities to improve terms
Drive for better terms, influence/guide Sales teams for negotiating secured terms, secured milestones
Manage credit control processes, new customer evaluation, credit risk etc.
Timely flagging of credit risk and proactive actions to minimize credit exposure.
Ensure all approvals are in line with policy & procedures and within SEA Matrix
Credit limit evaluation and customer credit rating RYG validation quarterly for all customers.
Prepare for review decks & manage review meetings at India and Global level
Work closely with Pole WC Leader. Drive common processes, share & learn, global initiatives
Actively participate in the AOP build up process along with RFL, DFLS, FP&A & Pole WC Leader.
Drive MOSs for various initiatives time to time for better visibility on current, historical trends
Address external & internal audit queries (Quarterly/as & when)
Review at L2 and represent at L3 level wherever needed.
Executive connect with key customers and 2nd level escalation point. Handle select cases of importance and complexities for cash follow up, India level reconciliations etc.
Maintain communication with key customers finance department
Drive various C2C improvement initiatives as need of time or the ones which come out as a result of evolving process gaps. Review current initiatives in place, look out for improvement opportunities.
Conceive & deploy new initiatives to align with changing market and reciprocate to improve cash performance.
