Job Description

We are looking for talented Content Writers to create compelling blog posts, landing pages, product descriptions, social media content and web copy for Canadian SMBs. Were looking for someone who would help our clients in expanding their digital footprint and drive more value through online content. This position requires a high level of creativity, as well as the ability to write engaging marketing content. Preference will be given to those with a strong writing portfolio, bachelors degree and relevant work experience. Eligibility Criteria: 15 years (10+2+3) of full time regular education is a must Not more than 2 years of gap during education or employment in total Willingness to work in any shifts including night shifts Qualification: Bachelors degree in English, Journalism or related field Experience: 1-2 years of experience content writing Experience with US style guide will be an added advantage Roles & Responsibilities: Regularly produce various content types, including micro websites, social media posts, and blogs and web copies Collaborate with other departments to create innovative content ideas Writing clear marketing copy to promote different products/services Researching industry-related topics (combining online sources and information provided by the client) to produce best content ideas Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone) Update content as needed Requirements: Proven 1 2 years work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role Portfolio of published articles Excellent writing and editing skills in US English Ability to meet deadlines.
