The specific role is that of Consumer end to end Designer, the post will involve solution design skills working into -Consumer, delivering solutions on the CCP stack. The position will report into one of the Consumer Lead E2E Designers, and will work closely with the Portfolio Architect Team for Consumer. The post requires good solution design skills along with a good working knowledge of s architecture and platforms, in particular those of the Consumer CCP stack. The role holder must be able to work flexibly to meet demand, which may involve working on solution designs outside of their particular Portfolio area where required.
The role requires:
Understanding of interworking of different OSS-BSS components in a telecom operator (e.g. CRM, Billing, Order Management, Inventory, Middleware, Mediation, Reporting, RA, Real Time Charging etc)
Working experience as end to end designer/business analyst for full OSS-BSS stack
Understanding of business processes (Fulfilment, Assurance, Billing) of retail consumer communications market (telecom domain)
Experience in converting business requirements into technical solutions (e.g. High Level Design, Rapid Impact Analysis, Effort Estimations)
Good to have knowledge on eTOM, SID, TAM, FrameworX, TOGAF and enterprise architecture
Good to have exposure on UML modelling
The role holder is responsible for providing effective support of projects/ operational support tasks, dealing with all relevant issues under the guidance of the manager. He/she provides support in the formulation of network, technology, systems and information strategy and evolution plans, and operational support policies and procedures. The role holder provides assistance in meeting business objectives, solving business problems and furthering business success by applying industry, applications and technical knowledge through the definition of high level solutions on projects or the development of operational processes and procedures.
