Job Description

Role: Construction Manager Location : Mumbai/ West India Exp. 6-10 Yrs Industry - Commercial FitOuts/ Finishing / IPC/ PMC / Retail Only Brief Job Role & Key Deliverable-  1. BE/B Tech in Civil & Project Management Background is a MUST 2. Prior working with Global PMCs /IPCs will be Plus 3. Sound Knowledge and understanding of Project Planning, Scheduling, Execution for Finishing and Interior Fit-out works. 4. Planning & Execution of the project (i.e. Material, Manpower, Equipment and Tools Tackles) required for execution of the job 5. Respect for the costing and for the timing for all construction in Given Zone (Handover date) 6. Execute the project within the Parameters of Time, Cost, Profit, Quality, HSE and productivity. 7. Coordination with various Agencies, Contractors, Vendors, Core Project Management Team and other Relevant Departments to ensure smooth functioning & execution of Project Sites. 8. Prepare Control, Estimate and Track Actual expenses with control estimate on a monthly basis. 9. Responsible for documenting all process active as per company policy and requirement. 10. Coordination with External & Internal Architectural Team for timely receipt of GFC, working drawings & design changes. 11. Coordination with Commercial Property Owners, Negations, Business Communication 12. Project Finishing, Interior Fit Outs and Customization as per global benchmarks of company 13. Inspection of different materials before and after installation. 14. Entire Site Engineering Works, Surveys, management works (viz. labour deployment details, work done reports etc.) 15. Sound knowledge of the Cost Construction for Zone (Cities by cities) with the QS. 16. Plan, organize& direct activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities  and systems in order to construct a new store 17. Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes  and other regulations 18. Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers and clients  representing the owner or developer  19. Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors" 20. Select, contract and oversee workers who complete specific pieces of the project, such as painting or plumbing 21. Requisition supplies and materials to complete construction projects 22. Prepare and submit budget estimates and progress and cost tracking reports 23. Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site 24. Good communication skills. (Sound English is mandatory, as Required to interact with EXPATS) 25. BE / B Tech in Civil, Project Management Background - MUST 2. Prior Working with Global PMCs /IPCs will be Plus 3. Sound knowledge and understanding of Project Planning, Scheduling, Execution for Finishing and Interior Fit-out works. 4. Multiple Project Site & Construction Management 5.
