To lead a team of Engineers responsible to commission Fire, Security & building management control systems as part of customer orders incorporating the supply, design, installation and commissioning of building management control systems.
Scheduling of the commissioning activities of the team and furnish progress reports to the Engineering Manager.
Document commissioning progress, site reports and assist with O & M manuals.
Aid supervision of the SAT process.
Aid supervision of the Handover and demonstration of the completed system to customer/ consultant.
Manage the training and O&M documentation.
Ensure health and safety procedures and standards are followed on site. Ensure all Health and safety documentation is filed, maintained and updated on site.
Ensure commissioning schedules, handover and witnessing documents are updated, maintained, completed and filed on server / issued to project manager prior to project completion
Work very closely with the PM / PE to ensure that all technical problems are resolved as quickly and cost effectively as possible and to the clients satisfaction
Has a detailed understanding of iBMS (FDA, ACS, CCTV, PA & BMS) systems
Fully computer trained with various Microsoft applications with specialist applications such as Microsoft SQL being an advantage
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
Demonstrate ownership of the commissioning phase of the project and proactive resolution of problems.
Exhibit good communication with the project team and customer, both verbal and written.
Meet the project budgets for commissioning and software time allocated.
Identify and feedback to project team areas of variation, or opportunity e.g. Energy, Security, CCTV, metering etc.
